Systems Development Life Cycle

  Post-Implementation

This phase is also referred to as the maintenance and review stage, and continues throughout the life of the information system.  When the system is in use it is important that continual evaluation takes place to ensure it meets the needs initially stated in the planning phase.

Any problems that are detected such as bugs and early hardware failure, can be corrected and modified as necessary.  It is also at this stage that any new requirements may be identified and implemented. A helpline is often provided for the users to cope with unforeseen problems.
